We are pleased to invite the community to submit to the 22nd International Conference on Digital Audio Effects. The conference will be hosted at the Birmingham City University campus in Birmingham, UK. The annual conference brings together academics, industry bodies and students from around the globe to participate in the development of Digital Audio Effects for music production, speech, sound design and other applications.
We would like to invite submissions of papers for presentation at DAFx2019 within the following general areas:
Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers according to one of the following two paper formats:
The program committee will decide the types of presentation based on the conference organisation, and the authors' preferences. Submitted papers must be camera-ready and conform to the format specified in the template, which can be downloaded here.
Papers should be submitted using the EasyChair conference management system.
All submissions will be subject to peer review. Acceptance may be conditional upon changes being made to the paper as specified by reviewers. Final versions of the accepted contributions will be published in the conference proceedings distributed to all registered delegates at the conference site and will be made freely available.
Selected DAFx19 papers will be invited for publication in a special edition of the Applied Sciences Journal.
If you have any queries or questions, please contact the organisers on [email protected].
The time-slot for the presentations is 20 minutes (15 minutes talk, 5 minutes questions and answers). This splits up into 15 minutes for presentation, and 5 minutes dedicated to discussion with the audience. During the discussion, the next presenting author will be invited to prepare.
All presentations should be tested before the start of your session. The screen will accept either VGA, HDMI or mini-Display Port. A mini-jack will be available for audio demonstrations. Whilst there may be some converters available, please ensure you bring your own. A dedicated machine will be available as well which will be suitable for PowerPoint and PDF presentations.
The DAFx2019 logo can be found in PNG, SVG or EPS formats here for your presentation.
Posters for each day will be pinned for either the morning or afternoon of each conference day for unguided discussion. The posters should be in portrait or landscape A0 format (841 x 1189 mm). Each author will also give a two minute overview of their poster before the session.
